Pat’s Cafe is a legendary Veterans Bar in Portsmouth, Oh.
The question is always asked, “How did you get that mural project on the side of PAT’S?!”
The story goest that Tim Glockner went in for a beer one day and struck in up with the owner, Morris. Morris did three tours in Vietnam, shooting out of helicopters.
They hit it off so well, and Morris spoke with such charisma that Tim said, “Hey. What if we finished that mural out their for you?” (There was one started in the 1980’s).
A few months later, and with a grant from Toyota, we made it happen.
